How We Operate:
APEX seeks motivated professionals and creates a networking environment in which they can multiply their business contacts in a quick and methodical way. We seek self-guided individuals in order to eliminate the need for excessive rules and regulations. We have a healthy level of structure to insure that things run smoothly, and a mild disdain for the reprimands and fines that characterize many other networking organizations.
We keep our meetings lively, while keeping our sights on the two guiding principles of networking:
“The Rule of 250” states that the average person knows at least 250 other people well enough to make an introduction that they will receive willingly and with interest. Thus, our members have an expansive “second tier” of resources that extends well beyond their individual purchasing power.
“The Rule of Reciprocity” states that giving first helps stimulate the recipient to give back something of equal or greater value. Our members are chosen for their commitment to helping each other build a circle of expanding business referrals via this concept.
We empower members to obtain maximum results from APEX relationships as well as from other memberships, business development organizations, and other associations in the community. This is in contrast with some networking groups that become possessive and jealous of their members.
What Makes APEX Unique?
Premier Venue:
Monthly evening meetings are held at a private club. The setting creates an atmosphere conducive to team building and sets a professional tone.
New members are assimilated into the group with ease:
First time visitors are invited to our monthly breakfast meeting, during which time they are encouraged to introduce themselves to APEX members. Visitors are asked to present a 5-10 minute self-introduction to the group.
We Celebrate Results:
APEX-OC recaps new business and results achieved on the news page of this website. Periodic social gatherings also provide a venue in which to celebrate, as well as get to know each other on a personal level.
Selective Membership Policy:
Our membership is usually limited to one representative from each industry and by personal referral from members only.
Prudent Financial Investment:
Fees are affordable, yet substantial enough to screen out mediocrity and strengthen commitment.
